El Amor No Conoce TIEMPO Ni DISTANCIA:)

Isn't it crazy how even though I am thousands and thousands of miles away from home, I can still talk to those I love as if I never even left?

They say that true friendship, the kind that makes you reserve a special space in your heart for that specific person, doesn't really get the concepts of distance or time.





Today I got to skype my little sister Stacey as she was getting ready for bed. We just chatted really. No intense conversations about the meaning of life... no tears or deep dark secrets... Just two sisters talking as sisters do. And guess what? It was as if I was sitting in the room right next to her. Just chilling on her bed as if we had all the time in the world to just make each other laugh and ask questions about how our days had been... :')

And so we talked:) And as she got more and more sleepy, I told her to turn out the lights and I would keep talking to her until she fell asleep. I kept going on, about everything and nothing at all, and sooner then not I could hear her steady breathing (note how I didn't say snoring -ooops! haha) Oh gosh I miss those big sister moments!



When I could run my fingers through their hair as we sat and watched tv.

When I would open the front door and they ran straight into my arms for no other reason then the fact that I came home.

When I could count on the sounds of cooking in the kitchen, cartoons and computer games, of laughter and stories and Bella's tiny footsteps running about.

When I could in turn call my big sister and know that she had the answer to whatever hardship or dilemma I was facing that day.








There are a few select people in your life that are placed there because they are meant to stay there. There are people that teach you things about yourself that you could never learn alone. There are sweet angels that will always be there for you, no matter where in the world you are. I love you guys.





Family. Brothers and sisters, friends and lovers, parents and mentors. The moments we have with each other may be limited here on earth, but can be eternal:) These moments with my brothers and sisters remind me what true love is, what years and years of having to deal with each other can blossom into... I can forever count of the love of these individuals.
