Ahhhhh... humanity.

I push people away- far away- go away.

My brother in law told me to give him a chance. Its just a date after all.

Oh but its not. Its not just a date, its not just a chance. Its never "just". People always want more. Its human nature. Once you open the door a wedge- they just keep pushing and pushing until they are inside the room.




I could sit here and say the famous line of all men are the same, but who am I kidding? The human race is all the same. We are picky and shallow. We are lazy and unwilling. We are selfish creatures- so why do we say certian things are INHUMANE when humans themselves lack love, compassion, and humanity?




...sometimes I lose faith in humanity....




But then I remember that although humanity has lost morals, lost respect, lost chivalry... there is still good in this world. There is still love and happiness. There are still good people out there, people that care without any thought of receiving something in turn. There are smiles and sunny days! Even though there is such darkness in this crazy and mixed up world, I have faith that someone will let me through when I'm trying to get into another lane...

If we give up on humanity, what else is there? If we abandon the hope of a brighter tomorrow, whats the point of getting through today? Keep going. Go on. Keep moving. Move on.

My Baby is Dead.

I've always wanted to be a mother.  Yes, I will never be hired by the Government because of my liberal views on this facist society, but I have also always wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and raise children with my spouse.  After 4 years of ultrasounds, blood tests, different medicines, fertility treatments, surgery, a cancer scare, and so many procedures; we were finally pregnant. A baby! We were going to have a BABY and I got cravings for burgers and fruit and was so excited to be pregnant alongside my sister who was about 4 weeks ahead of us in her pregnancy. We were so happy.  When someone gets pregnant when they are older they have a higher chance of having twins and since we did IUI, it increases the chance of twins as well which seemed daunting, but exciting! Maybe twins, but definitively pregnant! Yay, maybe two BABIES! Motherhood for a childless divorcee

Most of my close friends have babies.  Its a thing.  The oldest of their children is nine.  The youngest less than a year.  Me?  I'm divorced and have no offspring.  Right, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let me tell you all about being a mom.  We are planning a girls trip cruise to Ensenada and I just sit in the background of the group chat waiting for my mom friends to find babysitters or sort things out with their husbands.  When asked for my opinion on dates my response is, "I don't have kids so you guys let me know what works for you and we'll do that." My schedule is wiiiiide open.  Including my nights.  I don't get woken up multiple times a night to comfort a hungry or grumpy child.  I can sleep, or stay up-  it is all on me.  (woot woot)  At my friend's kids' princess/prince birthday party I "borrowed" my niece in order to feel like I had a purpose to be there.  Her mom was there too so ...
