Dear Sisters,

I never did my Personal Progress as a Young Woman.  I graduated at 16 and didn't think a grown-up college student needed a medallion to put a label on her progression.

I was sooooooo smart back then,  and yet it has taken me these six years since graduating to finally discover the most important fact I could learn.  The fact that I am a Daughter of God.  If I could go back to little me and give myself one piece of knowledge it would be that-  the surety that comes with knowing who I am,  where I came from,  and where I am going.

I wish I could give you the same knowledge.  I wish I could wrap my arms around you and somehow have you feel absence of a once existing pain that has been healed by our Father through our Savior.  I wish I could make you realize that He is real.  He is there for you.  He loves you.  He will guide you.  You are His Daughter!  If there was some way to help you see that you deserve everything this world has to offer and more.

You deserve to be loved.  You deserve to be happy.  You are a Daughter of The All-Mighty,  All-Powerful,  All-Knowing Father,  and deserve to be respected as such.  There is so much opposition in this world.  There are so many people that will want to convince you to change or forget who you are.  There will be boys that will want to touch you and there will be others that will want to love you.  In that there is all of the difference in the world.

First,  love God.  Try,  just try to put Him first.  Try to give your heart,  might,  mind and strength to Him.  I promise that if you do,  He will open the doors of heaven for you,  His Daughter.

Second,  love yourself.  Have enough faith in God to read your scriptures and pray to find out if He loves you.  I promise that if you ask,  He will answer.

Third,  love others.  Be brave enough to share what is truly divine in you as a woman,  your ability to share God's love with others.  I promise that if you do so,  your ability to love will only increase.

I testify to you that life is hard.  There are trials.  There is opposition and there is fear.  However,  there is also light.  There is love and their is peace.  These things are real.  I testify to you that through The Gospel of Jesus Christ,  all things are possible,  I promise that you,  as a Divine Daughter of God,  alongside your Eternal Companion will be able to create worlds,  create life,  create never-ending happiness.

I promise that God loves you,  if you don't believe me-  ask Him.

In Jesus Christ's name,  Amen.
